(WSYM) — Greek and Canadian billionaire Andreas "Andy" Apostolopoulos died suddenly at his home on Monday, Feb. 15. He was 69 years old.

In 2009, Apostolopoulos purchased the former Pontiac Silverdome, which has since been imploded back in 2017. Apostolopoulos is known for revitalizing properties in empty business areas and communities, then redeveloping them into useful income-producing assets.

He's survived by his wife, sons Jim, Peter and Steve, their spouses, and five grandchildren.

Apostolopoulos' cause of death has not been released.
