Bond proposal for East Lansing School District

 A bond committee meeting tonight to discuss a bond proposal that will be on the ballots for the May elections.

The public is encouraged to attend. Tonight, the committee is expected to vote on the language of the proposal. The district is looking to rebuild several elementary schools.

The bond could cost over $93 million. Homeowners would have to pay an extra $180 a year on a home valued $200,000.

The meeting starts tonight at 7:00 pm at the high school.
