A barricaded gunman situation has been contained on Crimson Way in Walled Lake.
Chancellor Condos tells 7 Action News a welfare check turned into a barricaded gunman situation. St. Matthew Lutheran School was placed on lockdown briefly. Mary Helen Guest Elementary School was briefly put in 'shelter-in-place' mode due to the incident.
South Commerce Road was closed in both directions at Decker. Decker was closed between South Commerce and Pontiac Trail.
A man was taken into custody. Police say it was a domestic situation between a husband and a wife.
