There are a lot of criteria for what makes colleges stand out like their brilliant faculty and their accomplished alumni. Today we have a different focus because Princeton Review has ranked the top party schools across America. Kristina Guerrero is highlighting five of her favorite schools to have fun while getting an education.
1. University of California, Santa Barbara
UCSB is ranked 12 on the list, which isn't really a huge surprise. The California coast is a vacation party destination unlike any other place.
2. University of Colorado Boulder
Get a cold beer for this college at the base of the Rockies, with Pearl Street and the surrounding area in downtown boulder which is a hot spot for raging Buffaloes, the students, not the real ones.
3. University of Iowa
The Midwest is no stranger to merrymaking. The Hawkeyes are more like the red eyes, ranking 11th.
4. University of Wisconsin-Madison
Apparently they know how to badger the beer distributor because they came in 5th on the Princeton Review list.
5. Tulane University
This university located in New Orleans, Louisiana is number five on our list, but it’s the number one ranked party school. Their nickname is the Green Wave, but maybe it should be the Bed Spins.
