Eastern Michigan police have made arrests in an alleged armed robbery and carjacking of a student at a parking lot on campus.

The update was sent Thursday afternoon. Police say the stolen vehicle has been recovered. They add that because of "video surveillance, enhanced security lighting and the cooperation from the area police agencies" the arrests were made possible.
Police say that the weapon used in the crimes was an air-soft type pistol.
The robbery and carjacking happened Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Pease Paid Lot on campus.
The investigation is ongoing.
