Police have identified Anthony Iannotti as a person of interest in the brutal beating death of 62-year-old woman in Warren.
The homicide investigation continues after family members found the body of Donna Lawrence in her apartment on August 10.
Police say Lawrence was beaten to death.
Mayor Jim Fouts says Iannotti is an extremely dangerous person and this was an extremely violent death.
The shower was running when Lawrence's body was found. Neighbors and crews working nearby saw the suspect knocking on her window Wednesday morning and calling her name. She let the man in.
That same man was seen leaving the apartment soaking wet. He got in Donna Lawrence's car, a blue Daewoo station wagon with an orange Detroit sticker on the window.
Family members are hoping someone sees the car and leads police to her killer.
There have been no arrests at this time.
