Marvel's newest 'mystical' superhero, Amulet, is from Michigan.
The superhero, whose name is Fadi Fadlahah, is from Dearborn, according to Detroit-born co-creator Saladin Ahmed. Ahmed teamed up with illustrator Sara Alfageeh.

According to Marvel's website, his first appearance will be in Magnificent Ms. Marvel #13.
Although details of his powers are still unknown, Amulet is described as having powers "magical in nature."
