American actress turned activist Alyssa Milano is pledging to spread holiday cheer to children in Flint this year.
Milano tweeted Friday night that she is giving up her birthday to help "children struggling in Flint, Michigan" receive toys this holiday season.

She cited the "Flint water crisis is not over even though the federal water assistance they were receiving has stopped. And 60% of children in Flint live below the poverty line."
The actress has partnered with Toys for Tots and so far has raised nearly $15,000 out of her $20,000 goal.
