A swamp animal found in the Motor City?
That’s right.
An alligator was found wandering the city’s west side in the afternoon of June 15.
The gator was discovered in the backyard of a home on Strathmoor.
The family living there found the animal up against their fence and recorded it on video.
It is unclear if the gator was an exotic pet that was turned loose or escaped. The animal was captured and is now in custody of animal control.
