1. The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta - Albuquerque, NM
It's a Fiesta! This festival is considered the largest hot air balloon festival in the world and attracts balloon enthusiasts and pilots from all over. It also features, not just your typical hot air balloons, but also some of the craziest balloon designs, from pink elephants to bumble bee bears!
Catch all the hot air fun at this festival from October 7th through the 15th.
2. The Poteau Balloon Festival - Poteau, OK
This balloon festival is for those balloon enthusiasts who like a bit of variety to their hot air balloon celebrations. While you can catch hundreds of beautifully crafted balloons at this one, you can also catch some thrills with helicopter rides, off-roading adventures, marathons, and more!
Celebrate the outdoors and all things balloon at this festival on October 20th and 21st.
3. The Adirondack Balloon Festival - Queensbury, NY
This festival has been around now for 45 years - and for good reason. This hot air balloon party is four days long and also features a block party, including live music, kid's fairs and a car show! You can also pick up some new knick knacks for home at their craft fair and even enjoy all you can eat pancakes - count us in!
