AAA Michigan reports that compared to last week, the statewide average daily gas price has decreased.
Michigan's current daily statewide average is about $2.88 per gallon, about 5 cents less than last week's average and about 45 cents more than this same time last year.
The lowest average price is in the Traverse City area at $2.73 per gallon, while the highest average price is found in the Marquette area at $3.06 a gallon.
