A fifth person has tested negative for coronavirus in Michigan. Michigan health officials confirmed Sunday a fifth person was being tested. That person is an Oakland County resident with a travel history to China.
According to the county, the results came back negative, as have the other four tests in the state.
As of Sunday, Feb. 9, there are 37,592 confirmed cases of the virus with 814 deaths, mostly in China. An American living in the Chinese city of Wuhan, which is ground zero for the virus, was reported dead , according to the New York Times. The 60-year-old is believed to be the first American citizen to die from the illness.
