At least 50 flights are delayed at Detroit Metro Airport due to icy weather conditions, according to FlightAware.com.
As of 9:35 a.m., there have been a total of 56 flight cancellations and 50 delays at DTW. While arrivals remain on time, departures are more affected by the icy conditions.
Right now, Detroit Metro Airport is experiencing departure delays an average of 39 minutes and inbound flights delayed at their origin an average of 43 minutes due to snow and ice.

Minneapolis/St Paul International is currently experiencing inbound flights delayed at their origin an average of 43 minutes due to snow and ice, and Chicago O'Hare International is experiencing inbound flights delayed at their origin an average of 1 hour and 26 minutes due weather conditions.
Nearly 6,000 flights have been delayed at airports across the nation.
