Did you know that most small towns are growing extinct in the United States? Around 54 percent of them are losing population, but there are still some that are thriving with only a handful of people. Kristina Guerrero has three of the tiniest towns in America that are living large.
1. Tortilla Flat, Arizona
Julie Snodgrass is co-owner of the 10-acre town and each part is unique, like their restaurant that's covered in customer's dollar bills from around the world.
2. Buford, Wyoming
Jason Hirsch runs the Buford PhinDeli Coffee Shop, but he doesn't own the town. That honor belongs to a Vietnamese investor. Buford was bought in an auction for $900,000 from the town's former one resident.
3. Weeki Wachee, Florida
Mermaids are even more common than people here. In 1947 the Underwater Mermaid Show opened and has been keeping people coming ever since.
