3 Milk Alternatives Worth Checking Out

Being out of dairy milk is not as big of a deal as it used to be with all the new alternative options hitting the shelves. If you're looking to switch up your milk routine Lindsey Granger and Dr. Anthony Balduzzihave three new options worth checking out.

1.  Milkadamia

One of the main differences is it's made from raw macadamias. CEO of Milkadamia, Jim Richards, says by not roasting the macadamia's, consumers won't get the "nutty" taste you may get from almond milk. It also has some health benefits. All nuts are similar, but each nut has a super power. Macadamia's super power is that it's anti-inflammatory.

2.  Quinoa Milk

This one is a tough one compared to some other milks. Quinoa is great to eat, especially like a sprouted quinoa which is high in fiber, high in minerals and high in protein, but the taste is a bit watery. If you're a fan of skim milk then this might be a good option to try.

3.  Pea Milk

Pea milk naturally has the same amount of protein as dairy milk and you can even use it in your favorite baking recipes. If you're used to baking with something like almond milk, which a lot of people do, this won't taste too differently.
