3 internet brands from the ‘90s that are surprisingly still alive

On today's Buzz List we're getting a bit nostalgic and taking a trip back to the 1990s. Teresa Strasser is looking at internet brands we thought were long gone, but are actually still alive and kicking.

3.  Ask Jeeves

The question answering website launched in 1996 and was pretty much trying to be the Google of its time. It's still around as Ask.com. We hope Jeeves the Butler got a severance package when they dropped his name.

2.  ICQ

This instant messaging program was also launched in 1996 and is still around. Now it’s popular for its video calls and chat capabilities. Did you know ICQ stands for Internet Chat Query? Thanks for that info Google!

1.  EarthLink

Founded in 1994, EarthLink is still going at it offering IT services to both homes and businesses. The original inspiration was to have a user-friendly way to get on the internet.
