3 common urban legends that are totally not true

Today on the Buzz List Teresa Strasser is debunking three common urban legends we were sure were true, but aren’t.

3.  Twinkies

Many people used to believe the yellow spongy snack never went bad, but in fact they have a finite shelf life of about 45 days.

2.  Cops

Legend has it, if you ask a suspected officer if they are in fact law enforcement they have to answer you truthfully. Well this is flat out wrong. Cops can lie in the line of duty.

1.  Napoleon

Napoleon Bonaparte was actually not that short. Supposedly he was 5’7” which was slightly above average in 1800s France. Maybe he didn't have a napoleon complex?
