January 1st is National Bloody Mary Day, which makes sense because New Year’s Eve is National Champagne Day! Well this morning-after mixture has a surprising number of varieties. The List’s Donna Ruko is having a bloody good time, with Bloody Mary’s, because it's What’s Trending.
1. Queen City Bloody Mary – This one hails from Ohio and features a carrot, sage and rosemary garnish.
2. Mile High Michelada – Out of Denver Colorado, this Bloody Mary’s got sugar spice and everything nice. Brown sugar, a mixture of beer tequila and tomato juice plus, Jalapeño for an extra kick.
3. California Roll Bloody Mary – Substituting Vodka for Sake, this one has a Japanese flair. It packs spices, Soy Sauce and Wasabi but to top it all off is a shrimp or California roll garnish.
