21-year-old charged for alleged 1-year relationship with underage girl

A 21-year-old man from Vanderbilt has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly being in a relationship with an underage girl for about a year.

Ryan Wesley Tubbs, 21, is being investigated for alleged sexual assault that happened in August 2017.

Tubbs was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a felony of up to 15 years in prison.

The defendant was arraigned in 87-A District Court of Otsego and released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

Tubbs is due for another hearing in January 2020.
