2 Monroe County residents face numerous charges of human trafficking

Two Monroe County residents appeared in court Wednesday on several felony charges related to human trafficking. 

Anthony John Miller faces four charges that include one count each of human trafficking of a minor for forced labor; human trafficking enterprise resulting in injury/commercial activity; and two counts of possession of child sexual abusive material.

The second defendant, Tori Richelle Brothers-Helton, also faces four counts that include two counts of human trafficking of a minor for commercial sexual activity; and one count each of human trafficking enterprise resulting in injury/commercial sex activity and child abusive commercial activity. 

Miller and Brothers-Helton are both expected back in court for another hearing on Oct. 24.
