A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the shooting death of a 3-year-old boy on Detroit's west side.

"It just don't make no sense for us to be burying our three-year-old boy," said Christian Miller's father, Richard Miller. "What kind of animal are you?" Miller asked about the person who killed his little boy.

Christian, 3, died after being shot on Jan. 24 while riding along the Southfield Freeway near Joy Road.

Miller was with his godmother and her son on their way to see Sesame Street Live when a bullet went through the rear driver's side door and through Miller's car seat. The child was struck between the shoulder blades and later died at Children's Hospital.

On Monday, Crime Stoppers announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. The tipster will not have to testify and Crime Stoppers does not wait for a conviction to pay the cash reward.

The reward was originally for $2,500. An additional $1,000 will be added to the new $10,000 reward if the tip comes into Crime Stoppers by midnight Monday.

Police are still searching for a suspect, who is only described as a light-skinned man with a full beard. He was driving a 2014 to 2016 silver Mercedes Benz.

If you can help Christian's family and police bring the killer to justice, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You will remain 100% anonymous.

The family has started a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses.
