The fatal shooting happened at approximately 2:01 a.m. in the 20000 block of James Couzens Freeway.

Police say four men had just left a night club in the city. While driving downtown, they heard loud music coming from a Ford Fusion.

The white Ford Fusion began riding alongside their car when several shots rang out. The victims, all black males between the ages of 21 and 27, were wounded – one fatally. Another person in the victim vehicle, a 29-year-old black male, told police that he jumped out of the car and ran when the incident occurred.

The two surviving victims are listed in critical condition. The victim who ran from the vehicle was not injured.

Police are now looking for that white Ford Fusion. No other details have been provided about the suspects or the suspect vehicle.
