Williamston Sunrise Rotary will join service clubs, first responder organizations and religious organizations nationwide at 5:30PM EST on January 19 for a five minute pause to think about those we have lost or are losing due to the COVID-19 virus.

SOme of the things that will happen during this time throughout mid-Michigan includes:

  • Churches will toll their bells across the country
  • Williamston United Methodist Church will invite anyone to come ring the historic UMC bell in honor of any loved one
  • First responders will sound their sirens
  • Individual citizens will put a candle in their window for each person they know who has either died or been affected by COVID-19
  • Medical staff will continue to do what they are doing: trying desperately to save lives

Williamston Sunrise Rotary asks that you spread the word to your employees, co-workers, friends and relatives.
