LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Community College Office of Diversity and Inclusion will lead the college in a week-long engagement of racial healing, equity and justice Jan. 18-22, 2021.

The Racial Healing and Transformation Week will center on a call for deep listening, discussions, racial healing, and celebration of our common humanity. The ultimate goal is to take collective action to create a more just and equitable world.

A celebration of the National Day of Racial Healing takes place Tuesday, Jan. 19 and is a time for contemplation and collective action on #HowWeHeal from the effects of racism. This annual observance is hosted by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Activities during the week include the ongoing Courageous Conversations series with guest facilitators The Learner's Group. This solution based consulting organization connects diversity and inclusion to engagement.

All events for the week will be held virtually and are open to the Greater Lansing community.
