LCC’s AMA Group Kicks off the New Year with Marketing Week

LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Community College’s Chapter of American Marketing Association provides students the opportunity for development through leadership opportunities and involvement in professional projects and events. The 2020-2021 LCC AMA theme is “Brick by Brick” they want every member to set their foundation with the objective of planning one level at a time, by networking, helping others and attending events like Marketing Week sponsored by Northwood University. The week will consist of national speakers and a Free Class at LCC!

Monday - 1.25.21; kicks off the week with Membership Monday! Three Free National Memberships will be Sponsored by Eric King, Agent/Owner of the Eric King Agency. Eric came from a family of educators, spent years teaching and has now developed into a dedicated insurance specialist who will be speaking at 4pm via WebEx followed by Northwood and a chance for a free membership.

Tuesday - 1.26.21; is “Taco Tuesday” being sponsored by Aldaco’s Authentic Mexican located at 6724 S. Cedar St, Lansing, MI. Everyone who calls between 1.26.21 and 1.31.21 and mentions LCCAMA will receive a free taco with any purchase of $10 or more. Pick Up Only.

Wednesday - 1.27.21; Small Business Revolution is an acclaimed series airing on Prime Video and Hulu, that’s revitalizing main streets across the country, one small business at a time. Devon Block who is a Brand Manager for Small Business Revolution and small business advocate will be speaking at 4pm via WebEx followed by Northwood and a chance for a free membership.

Thursday - 1.28.21; Erika Morgan, former LCC Alumni and LCC AMA President will be discussing her journey from college to entrepreneurship as well as the challenges she has faced during the Pandemic. Erika Morgan will be speaking at 5pm via WebEx followed by Northwood and a chance for a free membership sponsored by Escentual Candle Co. and Peckham.

Friday - 1.29.21; “Funday Friday” will wrap up the week at 6pm, beginning with Melik Brown, Founder of Lansing Made, an advocate for Lansing and the communities within it. Everyone who attended an event throughout the week will be entered into a drawing, giveaways from Cravings Gourmet Popcorn and the Grand Prize is a Free Class Up to 3 Credits. An event you won’t want to miss via WebEx!
