Summertime in northern Michigan is an unforgettable experience. Kid Rock says so in his song "All Summer Long." If you're looking for a day, weekend, or week of unforgettable outdoor activities, travel up to the Upper Peninsula. There's tons to do!
1) The UP is famous for it's Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising. It is a 15-mile stretch of breathtaking sandstone cliffs and waterfalls along the lake. Boat tours along the rocks are approximately 2 hours long and 40 miles round trip.

2) Go fishing in the UP! There's no better place to fish than in the Great Lakes or the streams running all throughout the Upper Peninsula.

5) Mackinaw City is a great stop before crossing the Mackinac Bridge to the UP. It is an awesome tourist location, with shops, entertainment, wine tasting and restaurants.
