The convenience store chain is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the invention of slurpees, so all week long, customers who have downloaded 7-Eleven's app will find special surprises.
In honor of the 50th anniversary, there is a new birthday cake flavored slurpee.
The slurpee was invented 50 years ago when soda pops were put into a freezer to cool, and they turned slushy.
You can pick up a free small slurpee today from 11 to 7 p.m. at 7-Eleven stores across Mid-Michigan. There are locations in East Lansing, Holt and Jackson.
