This app helps you understand food and beverage storage. Since each person wastes about 36 pounds of food per month, the Department of Agriculture created the app to give tips on how to make things last longer. You can find storage guidelines for products you have in your pantry, refrigerator and freezer. You even get an alert when items are nearing their recommended storage date.
Restaurants often have fresh food left when they close for the day and they don't enjoy throwing it out.
