Holiday cheer isn't limited to darling homes and decorated plazas during Christmastime. We've found a few incredible homes-away-from-home that go all out for the holiday season. So pack your virtual bags - Kristina Guerrero is taking you to 3 of the most magical hotels Across America that take celebrating the holiday season to the next level.

1. Christmas at the Princess - Scottsdale, AZ

You might think that living in the desert means you miss out on the most magical things about Christmas. But Arizona residents can catch the holiday spirit in a big way by celebrating at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess' annual "Christmas at the Princess" festival.

During the holiday season, the Princess hotel is transformed into a winter wonderland, full of events and attractions for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can take a walk through the resort's Enchanted Plaza for a show of 70,000 LED lights that twinkle to classic holiday songs. Or, they get more traditional with their holiday celebration by taking a skate on the resort's 6,000 sq. ft. ice skating rink before heading to S'mores Land for a warm treat. Whatever your favorite holiday tradition, you can do it all - at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

2. The Home Alone 2: Lost in New York Experience - NYC

If you love the movie Home Alone 2, then we've got the perfect holiday experience for you. In honor of the film's 25th anniversary, the famous Plaza Hotel in New York City decided to give visitors the chance to live it up, just like Kevin McCallister did during his cinematic stay at the luxury hotel.

Visitors will be able to participate in activities, all inspired by Kevin's stay at the hotel: They'll dine on Charcuterie Lunchables served with Zima inspired cocktails at the Todd English Food Hall; visit the Hotel's Home Alone 2 exhibit that allows fans to experience Kevin's journey through the film. Visitors can even book the Home Alone 2 Anniversary Room Package, complete with exclusive activities and perks, like getting an ice cream sundae, in-room, just like Kevin did! No guarantees on whether you'll get to meet Donald Trump, however...

3. Journey to the North Pole - Coeur d'Alene, ID

If you can't make it to the North Pole to spot Santa Claus, just head over to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to take part in their magical "Journey to the North Pole" festival. Put on every year, the resort's "Journey" is considered to be one of America's top holiday attractions and the largest on-the-water holiday light display in the country.

When guests arrive to the resort, they'll be able to hop on a cruise boat and set sail for the North Pole and Santa's Toy Workshop. They'll also be able to catch a glimpse of America's tallest floating Christmas tree while also taking in the thousands of lights that twinkle over the lake, before docking and taking part in the wonderful shopping and dining available at the resort.
