During the holidays, many people enjoy giving back by volunteering.
The Capital Area United Way has put together a list of volunteer opportunities available to the community.

Some of the opportunities include serving meals, donating pre-made food items, visiting the homebound or mentoring kids.
In the event that a volunteer opportunity cannot be found for a particular need, individuals are asked to contact the United Way Volunteer Center directly at (517) 203-5028. And if you are a nonprofit organization and have volunteer opportunities you would like to post to the public, feel free to register and post the project.
