Now that we are in December there is just one holiday we're all looking forward to, Christmas! It turns out there are other holidays this month people are excited for and some are pretty interesting to say the least.

3. National Flashlight Day

It is on the 21st of December, the longest night of the year, so why not? It is a day to remember exactly where the flashlights are in your home, grab them and play with them.

2. Festivus

We have Seinfeld to thank for this one. On the 23rd Festivus is a time to whip out the aluminum pole, the official symbol of the holiday and feast on dinner where the main course must be meatloaf followed by the airing of grievances.

1. Bacon Day

Originating from the UK, this holiday is celebrated on the 13th of December. It's exactly what you expect it to be, a day about enjoying bacon all day long!
