Google Uses Tiny Cameras for Mini Street View

Posted
and last updated

We are used to Google Street View showing off 360 degree views of the world's most popular places. This time Google used tiny cameras to capture a Street View map of Hamburg's Miniatur Wunderland, the world's largest miniature railway. The railroad track runs 13 kilometers, or just over 8 miles! Over 200,000 model citizens live in 7 districts. You will see the fictional city of Kniffingen, the Swiss Alps, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and a fully- functional Hamburg Airport with over 30 airplanes. The wonderland plans to add 3 exhibits within the next 5 years: England, France and Africa.
