Forget the mess and relieve your stress with these hacks that’ll save you time, money, and effort. The List'sTeresa Strasser shares how you should be using these items.
1. Peanut Butter
If you’re sick of that pool of oil on top of your peanut butter, store it upside down. It’ll disperse more evenly.
2. Paper Towel
You can cool your beverage down faster by wrapping it in a wet paper towel before you stick it in the fridge.
3. Wooden Spoon
Stop water from boiling over by placing a wooden spoon across the top of the pan. The wood is able to absorb a lot of the heat.
4. Chinese Take Out Box
Bet you didn’t know that when you order Chinese takeout, they include the plate. Just fold open the container, and there you have it. Certain boxes even fold back up for storing your leftovers.
5. Straw
Soda can lids are covered in germs and can taste like aluminum, while straws are always doing the float and fall. The solution: your soda tab doubles as a straw holder.
6. Toothpaste
Finally, when the day is done, brush your teeth using just a pea-sized amount of toothpaste. It’s just as minty and gets the job done. Most ads feature globs of it because A: it looks nice, and B: you use it up faster.
We’re saving you time, money, and frustration, on the breakdown.
