Sunday evening, the Kalamazoo County Government announced that, in following with the State of Michigan's recommendation for preventing COVID-19, they will activate their Emergency Operations Center. This will allow for a coordinated response and access to regional and national stockpiles for resources.
Starting at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 16, all county facilities will be closed to the public until further notice. The public is encouraged to conduct business via phone, e-mail, and U.S. mail when possible.
