Detroit police are investigating after finding human remains in an abandoned lot on the city's west side.
The remains were discovered around 4 p.m. Sunday on West Hollywood Street near 7 Mile and John R.
Police say the majority of the block is filled with abandoned homes.
The remains have been sent to a lab for analysis.
