If you have kids, the odds are good that they love Goldfish crackers. Goldfish are a popular snack for children because they’re easy for tiny hands to hold and, of course, they’re shaped like little fish.

You don’t have to be a child to appreciate the adorable crackers, however, and now Pepperidge Farm is releasing a flavor that both kids and adults are sure to enjoy: cheddar and sour cream.

The Flavor Blasted cheddar and sour cream crackers are baked with real cheese and have no artificial flavors or preservatives. You can find the new snack flavor beginning this month in grocery stores nationwide for around $2.49 a bag.

The new crackers join several other Goldfish flavors, including pizza and pretzel, along with the Flavor Blasted collection, which offers four more flavors: Cheddar Jack’d, Cheesy Pizza, White Cheddar and Xtra Cheddar.

You can also get the snack crackers in shapes other than goldfish, like Mickey and Minnie and Disney princesses — plus there is an entire line of sweet flavors like vanilla cupcake, s’more and fudge brownie.

If you’re looking for something healthier, Pepperidge Farm also launched Goldfish veggie crackers last year, which are made with 1/3 serving of vegetables.

If you’re just looking for more cheddar and sour cream flavors, however, you may want to try your hand at making this jalapeño popper cheese ball, as it calls for both cheddar cheese and sour cream, plus cream cheese, bacon, jalapeños, scallions and spices.

You can then serve the cheeseball alongside your favorite type of cracker and with other goodies like fresh vegetables, meats and, of course, more cheese!

To add another delicious appetizer in the same spicy-cheesy family to your spread, check out this recipe for cream cheese and jalapeño puffs, which beautifully blend the crispy goodness of a cream cheese wonton with the spicy decadence of a jalapeño popper. The recipe takes around 25 minutes to make and yields around 15 servings.

Is cheddar and sour cream one of your favorite flavor combinations?
