Amazon Prime Day is around the corner, and everyone is getting excited about what the sale may hold this year. The online retailer has been holding the annual sale since 2015, and past iterations have included steep discounts on everything from electronics to appliances toDNA test kits. If you’re wondering how this year’s sale will compare to years past, there are a few key differences.

1. There’s An Extra Day to Save

Despite its name, the Amazon Prime Day sale is actually taking place over two days this year — July 15 and 16. Last year, the sale lasted for 36 hours, and this year they’re bumping that up to a full 48 hours. So be prepared to shop til you drop on everything from TVs and wireless doorbells to bicycles. You can expect limited-time offers, product launches, and exclusive entertainment, like movie rentals and the Prime Day Concert on July 10 with Taylor Swift headlining. Here’s a video promo from the event from Amazon Music:

2. More Countries Have Access To The Sale

Each year, Amazon Prime Day has been made available to more nations. In 2017, Canada, the U.K., Spain, Mexico, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Belgium and Austria got access to the sale. Last year, Australia, Singapore, the Netherlands were added. In 2019, residents of the United Arab Emirates will be able to shop the sale as well. The company says more than 1 million deals will be available globally.

4. There Are New Collaborations

Amazon promises that Prime Day will include the launch of new collaborations with actors, musicians, athletes and top brands.  Some of the new products launching on Prime Day include 24 new JoJo Siwa products from Nickelodeon exclusively for Prime members, including a scooter, roller skates, bow bundle and a fashion line.

Amazon will also offer customized Levis that are a result of a partnership between the company, professional football player Sterling Shepard and model Chanel Iman. It’s also introducing a new Hanna Anderson line of organic cotton clothes for babies and toddlers, called Moon and Back. Additionally, Amazon will offer a page dedicated to innovators, artisans and others, featuring small- and medium-sized businesses.
