Here at the Refugee Development Center, we are dedicated to promoting the academic success, social development, and personal well-being of our newest neighbors.
Refugees are those who have been forced to flee their homes and are unable to return safely. Refugees arrive from many countries, representing many ethnicities, often having endured unbelievable hardship, and the RDC welcomes and includes all as newcomers who have great courage, creativity, and commitment to their new lives. With fierce courage and determination, they begin anew and the RDC is here to help.
The educational support we provide the refugee community is critically important in lifting these individuals out of poverty and defeating the helplessness associated with feeling like an outsider in a new country.
