A Lansing woman got a major surprise from a Lansing police officer.
Officer Trevor Arnold has known Jo Meade for quite a while. Meade rides her bike more than 12 miles to and from work from Lansing to the Cracker Barrel in Okemos.
She hasn't had a car in eight years -- but officer Arnold helped change that by raising money to help buy her a car.
He and several donors and the Kia of Lansing dealership presented Meade with her new used car.
