Blade Runner 2049 hit theaters this past weekend and the big budget sci-fi is true to the original - including Rick Deckard's penchant for drinking, especially at Taffy's Snake Pit Bar. Some movies just aren't same without their favorite watering hole. To honor our favorite cinema bars Jared Cotter hti up Second Story Liquor Bar to get three movie-inspired drinks from mixologist Allison Greenhaigh you'll want to try.

All Ingredients can be found at your local Bevmo or Total Wine and More Store:

1.  BLADE RUNNER: The Snake Pit Bar - Mescal sour (worm optional J )

2 oz El Silencio Espadin Mescal

.75 oz Chartreuse Yellow

.75 oz Lime juice

.75 oz Honey Syrup

1 Egg white

Steps:

In a shaker add Mescal, Yellow Chartreuse, Lime Juice, and Honey Syrup.

Separate white from an egg. Discard yolk and add in egg white to shaker.

Add ice in shaker and give it a good shake for about 10 seconds.

Remove ice from shaker and give it another good “dry” shake (no ice) for 20 seconds.

Pour into a chilled “coup” glass.

A dash or two of bitters to garnish.

2. CASABLANCA: Rick’s Café Americain – A twist on the classic Champagne Cocktail

1 Sugar Cube

12 dashes of Angostura Bitters

1 oz Sipsmith London Dry Gin

.5 oz Cointreau

Prosecco of choice

Lemon twist

Steps:

*Build the drink in a coup glass

Place one sugar cube in the center of the coup glass

Soak the sugar cube with 6 dashes of bitters

Add London Dry Gin and Cointreau

Top off with your favorite prosecco

Garnish with a lemon twist

*Legend has it the glass was modelled on the breast of Queen of France, Marie Antoinette. Turns out the glass predated Antoinette’s bosom by a century and was born in England. The Coup is the classic glass from which to drink champagne and sparkling wines, as the wide breadth of the glass “opens” the aromas and flavors of the wine better than flutes. In the 1960’s, Americans put a premium on extending the life of the bubbles over an “open” wine, and flutes became the Champagne/Sparkling wine glass of choice.

3. LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY: The Green Dragon Inn – English Ale

Samuel Smith’s Nut Brown Ale: Earthy with flavors of caramel malt, brown bread, and dried red fruits like raisin and date.
