MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Enjoy the full moon while taking a guided walk through the moonlit woods of the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Meridian Township on Friday, March 22nd at 8 pm. Dogs are welcome and the group meets in the parking lot. The fee is $3/person, due at the time of the walk. For more information, contact hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.
“The best part of this walk for me is the full moon shining between the tree branches,” said Nature Center Coordinator, Kit Rich. “As we move through March, spring is in the air and it feels good to get outside for a walk.”
It is not necessary to have a dog to attend the walk, however, participants are reminded that dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and flashlights are permitted.
