Halloween is coming soon and there are haunted houses popping up all over the place, but we're checking out places that are actually haunted. Lindsey Granger is looking across America to find some of the best places that you can go to get really scared for real.
1. Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona
There are some very interesting things that we have seen and captured and what our people have experienced over the years. They have a lady in the balcony that has a tendency to be prudish if you're not paying attention to the film and she's actually been known to smack people on the back of the head if they're not paying attention.
2. Peabody-Whitehead Mansion in Denver, Colorado
Denver historian and author Phil Goodstein gives walking ghost tours around the city and if you're hankering for a haunting, you can't beat this address. The legend says that a lady was kept waiting for her groom many years ago and now she's still waiting. Waiting to give you big scares!
3. Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio
You may have seen this prison in the movie The Shawshank Redemption and now it's open to tours where guides say they've seen it all like cells sliding shut and voices. Spooky!
