The Michigan State baseball program had three players chosen on day two of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft on Friday, June 10.
Starting pitcher Cam Vieaux was taken by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the sixth round (No. 195 overall); infielder Jordan Zimmerman was selected by the Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim in the seventh round (No. 216 overall); and reliever Dakota Mekkes was chosen by the Chicago Cubs in the 10th round (No. 314 overall).
