School bus driver runs light, crashes into building

The Lansing Police have issued an update to the crash at Cedar and Michigan involving a bus. 

They are reporting that the bus driver was at fault. The driver hit a car then hit an apartment building. The car had a driver along with a passenger - neither were hurt.

The bus had one adult passenger. The driver of the bus and the passenger were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The bus driver is said to have ran a red light. 

Police say the building that was hit is being inspected for structural damage and possible two apartments above the the crash site could be effected.

A school bus crashed into an exterior wall of a downtown bar Tuesday morning. It happened around 9:25 a.m. at Cedar and Michigan in Lansing.

There were not any students on the bus at the time of impact but the driver is being looked at for injuries.

Two other vehicles were involved. 

The school bus crashed into the Beer Grotto. All together, three people were injured.
