Protests planned in Michigan against President Trump's national emergency

LANSING, Mich. — Many people across the country are planning to use this Presidents Day to protest the current President of the United States' latest decision.

According to Moveon.org, a social justice and political action organization, protests against President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency will be held in Lansing, Howell, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Ferndale.

The protests are among the over 260 planned nationwide listed on the Moveon.org website.

According to the website, the protest in Lansing will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Lansing, 510 W. Ottawa Street starting at noon on Monday.
