LANSING, Mich. — Some good news for drivers...the prices we've been paying at the gas pump are now the lowest for the first time in nearly 1,000 days.
According to gasbuddy.com, the state average gas price is now $1.99 per gallon.
That's the first time this has happened since April 11th 2016.
Michigan joins 12 other states with average gas prices under $2 right now.
