The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing 16-year-old girl with known mental health concerns.
Shanteya Bunton-Lowe was last seen May 26 at around 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 9500 block of Wayburn. Shanteya left the home she shares with her grandmother after an argument.
Shanteya is 5'8" and weighs about 220 pounds. She has medium length black hair and brown eyes. She may be carrying a book bag with a hamburger logo on it.
Shanteya is in good physical condition. However, this is at least the tenth time she has been missing.
Anyone who has any knowledge of where she might be is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-1616 or 313-596-5940.
