Morning News Anchor

After spending some time across the Mighty Mac in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I’m happy to be back home downstate as the Morning Anchor for FOX 47 News!

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love for broadcast. As a child growing up in Brighton, Michigan I can remember always sitting down to watch the 6 o’clock news as my mom made dinner. Later, an obsession with news magazine shows like Dateline, 20/20, and 60 Minutes thrived, and as I grew older, I slowly began reporting instead of just watching.

I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan (sorry, Spartans!), where I studied Communication and had incredible broadcasting experiences. During my time as a student I worked as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network, and a news anchor for the student-run TV station, WOLV-TV. I also had the opportunity to be an associate producer for Mojo in the Morning, a hit morning radio show in Detroit. Outside of broadcasting, my greatest experience at U of M was the chance to be a camp counselor for Camp Kesem. CK is a student-run organization that offers a free week of summer camp to children whose parents have or have had cancer.

Before moving to Lansing, I was working in Marquette, Michigan as a weekend anchor and reporter for WLUC TV6. During my time there I experienced invaluable opportunities, like interviewing Al Roker of NBC’s TODAY Show, and having my work featured on NBC News.

I love to learn about people and their triumphs, struggles, and adventures.

If you have a story idea, I’m always listening! Feel free to send me an email at or message me on Facebook! ([])

I hope you’ll join me every morning bright and early from 7-9 a.m. on FOX 47!
