Two Lansing retail stores specially geared to cancer Patients will open locations at Sparrow’s new Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, part of a comprehensive care approach that services all Patient needs in one spot.
Another Look Hair Institute and Front Room Underfashions expect to be open when the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, 1140 E. Michigan Avenue, begins accepting Patients in July.
Another Look Hair Institute, which has a location at 1020 E. Saginaw, Lansing, provides customized hair services for cancer Patients, such as hair replacement for those undergoing chemotherapy. Front Room Underfashions, 727 Lincoln Court, Suite B, Lansing, is a specialty clothing boutique for women before and after undergoing mastectomies. Both will keep their current locations, in addition to opening outlets at the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center.
“Our partnership with Another Look Hair Institute and Front Room Underfashions will offer body image products and services designed for the unique needs of our cancer Patients,” said James Herman, M.D., Director of the Sparrow Cancer Center. “We are very happy to bring these products and services directly to the Patient in a convenient and welcoming environment that is Patient-centered.”
