Three kids from Mason wanted to help Sparrow Children’s Center, and to do so they wanted to have an art sale.
The children, Jade and Jayci Burkhart, both 8, and Jordyn Burkhart, 3, made art this spring and summer to raise money for the center.
The kids held their art sale on Saturday, and featured homemade ribbon wands, hand drawn pictures, “calming bottles,” and a few projects donated by their grandparents.
Despite some rainy weather, they were able to raise $65 so far. To help make the money go a bit further for the Children’s Center, a family member is going to match the money the kids raise.
